Challenge Annie at HLC
Henfield local Anne Dewdney is on a mission this year, and it’s nothing short of extraordinary. Challenge Annie 2025 sees her tackling 10 unique challenges over 10 months with a goal of raising £10,000 for the Henfield Haven. At the heart of her journey is a deeply personal reason: the Henfield Haven has been a lifeline for Anne and her husband, Rohan, who was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) at just 56.
The Haven isn’t just a support centre - it’s been a place where Rohan thrives in a safe, welcoming environment while Anne gets essential respite and support. It’s a vital community resource, providing care and connection for families affected by dementia.
Anne kicked off the year with her 100 sit-ups a day challenge for January and is smashing through it! You may have seen her in our gym cheered on by friends, family and HLC members.
With generous donations from supporters, she’s already raised nearly £3000 towards the target. Every penny goes toward ensuring the Haven can continue its vital work.
